Marche Restaurant

On Sunday, me and baby went to The Curve for an outing. Babe said haven't go there for long time but actually go there to look for her platforms. Haha.

There aren't any nice shoe shops in the Curve (what?) so we decided to walk the marketplace along the Street. Babe bought a few clothes for herselfs and some earings.

Later we had dinner at this Restaurant called Marche. The place is quite vintage and unique. Marche actually stands for market in French and that is the theme of the restaurant; Market.

They have a few stores divided into different types of food like Pasta, Grill, Salads and Drinks to name a few.

The food there is tasty and we had this salmon steak and it is really fresh. Lovely.

Go try it if you happen to be there. Its not really that expensive.

Night Market

Yesterday was Tuesday so Hillary asks whether we would like to go to the Pasar Malam in Sri Petaling. Since we haven't been to that pasar malam for a long time so we decided to go.

Gracie and Ray tagged along too ! XD

Chloe was craving for her 'Chicken Floss Bun' and Gracie bought a 'flip flop' for her new ViVa car. Ray just tagged along to look around but he's starving to the max. Hillary bought the most stuffs. We had 'char kuey teow' for dinner and bought these tau fu fah with flavors. It was kinda special with flavors like Pandan, Chocolate, Mango, Corn and Yam. I bought Pandan and Chocolate and both taste nice but i still prefer Pandan.

Any of you of come across these type of tau fu fah please try it. Its really nice but best not to add too much syrup. Very sweet :P

Before leaving, I wanted to get some chao tau fu (smelly tau fu). Okay I know the smell sucks like shit but trust me, its really nice ! Its just the smell but when you eat it you wont taste that yucky smell. Go with chili sauce and it's lovely ! So far I only know its available in Sri Petaling. Don't have it in SS2 and Cheras.

I didn't get it eventually as Chloe said, my throat just recovered so better not touch too much fried and oily food. Next time then.

Left around 9 and Gracie was pretty excited about seeing her new baby car. She told us the number plate would start with the alphabets BKM so me, Chloe and Ray was busy thinking about a sentence for that and Chloe said Grace .. Babi Kena Marah. Haha !

Had a fun outing. It's been a while since we went out like this and hopefully there'll be more people during the next outing. Our group is getting smaller and smaller.

31122008

The last day of the year.

Took Chloe to the Curve at Damansara for New Year Eve Celebration.

Went there early cos scared traffic jam and no parking. Reached there around 7 already no parking so parked at Ikano instead.

The Curve was already packed and the road was closed cos there will be some street party later.

Went to The Apartment for our dinner (sorry no pictures.. can't find my memory card reader). Luckily we went there just in time. A few minutes later the restaurant will be full and there were a lot of people waiting outside.

Had a great meal. Had egg and bacon sandwich for starter and I had grilled salmon while Chloe had chicken. Halfway through the meal we exchanged food cos wanted to try and Chloe say full already. Hehe. Dinner was around Rm160.

Went find my friends after that. They were at some grill restaurant so we joined them there cos they haven't left. After that we walk walk around the place until 12. Played with those spray cans and spray each other until so wet and smelly.

Watched the fireworks which was so beautiful and fantastic. Didn't manage to take pictures of it cos quite packed and scared people steal the camera so didn't use it. Fireworks went on for 15 minutes and we could also see the ones from 1 Utama. Got to see fireworks from 2 places is enough.

After the celebration, friends say want to yam cha but we don't know where to go cos everywhere will be jam. Someone suggested Asia Cafe so we headed there instead. I can't believe something though. I got caught in a jam and then traveled through LDP and reached AC already and one of my friends still stuck in The Curve parking. What the heck ? Stuck there for so long.

Went home around 3 something. Had to be quiet cos didn't want to disturb Raymond. Didn't really sleep much cos around 7 got to wake up and fetch Chloe back and then went back Seremban.

Ipoh

Date: 15 Devember - 18 December

Day 1

After that was Ipoh. Me, Chloe and Hillary followed Kelvin back to Ipoh and stayed at his house. The first night we didn't do anything. Kelvin took us to eat Ipoh's famous "Nga Choi Kai Fan" for dinner and then we went back home to rest cos been travelling the whole day.

Day 2

Since Kelvin has been wanting to drink Ipoh White Coffee since last night, we decided to drink that for breakfast. However, all overslept and woke up at 11 something so we went for lunch instead. we ate Curry Mee for lunch. After that we went to a coffee shop to drink Ipoh White Coffee and ate some egg tart.

On the way back, don't know who said want to watch movie so drop by ray's house to get some movies. Went in and sat a while and mess up Ray's room and left because his house having some renovation. After that we went home and rest and get ready for dinner later.

For dinner, went to this restaurant Mixed Cuisine, recommended by Addy. The 4 of us were join by Addy, Raymond, Casson and Catherine. It was the first gathering since we came to Ipoh but this was the last time too. After dinner, Casson wanted to go pasar malam but Kelvin and the rest wanted to da gei. So how? Hillary and Chloe followed Casson and Cat, while me, Kelvin, Addy, Ray and Chee Phung went Infinity.

After that, off back home.

Day 3

Actually we were supposed to go back today but Kelvin's parents persuaded us to stay one more day cos they want to take us for a tour and we did. Before our tour, we went to Ming Kok Restaurant for dim sum and went back home after that. Went visit one of the caves in Ipoh and also a newly opened resort somewhere in the middle of a jungle. After that we went to "Tai Shu Kiut" for our lunch and Kelvin's dad treat us. Thanks uncle.

For dinner, we had "char kuey teow" and fruit rojak for dinner. Raymond called and ask whether want to da gei or not but we didn't have the mood so we didn't go. Went back home instead and guess what. Kelvin and Hillary went to bed at 8 something while me and Chloe watched "Aquamarine" until 10 something. What happened to our yam cha plan ?

Day 4

Today is our last day in Ipoh. Woke up late again and we have "nga choi kai fan" for lunch again. As we left, we met Casson and he said he want to follow us back to Sunway later. After that we went and buy "yim kok kai" to take back to our hometown. Next, we went and buy some buscuits and tit bits to eat in the car later on the way back before going off to meet Casson. After fetching Casson then its bye bye Ipoh.

4 days pass by just like that. It was a really fun trip and I really hope we would be able to do this everytime during our holidays. A plan to come back to Ipoh again is already being discussed though we haven't even left Ipoh ! Haha so fast.

Fetched Kelvin back to Damansara, Casson to Subang and Hillary back to Puchong and finally myself and Chloe back to Seremban. Instead of being tired, we went to Pasar Malam instead straight after we came back. Buy some things to eat for dinner and went back home eat -__-"

Fun filled day

What a tiring day. Finally finished moving all my stuffs from my apartment to ray's place. This morning woke up early to move the things. Then after that had to fetch Chun Yong go pay bills and then went to Klang to have brunch and fetch Chloe. Came back Sunway and finished moving all the remaining things and then job done.

Supposed to go to a Adidas warehouse sale today but I was too tired so decided not to go. Maybe will go tomorrow with Chloe and her sisters. Anyway, I told honey that I wanted to take her to The Curve today to see the Christmas decoration's there as Raymond say its nice.

Before going there, we went to SS2 to have dinner first. Had dinner at The Cave. The food is quite nice as it is not as expensive as Ray said. Dinner only cost around Rm125 so it's not that expensive. Have a very romantic environment somemore. That place is only for couples. Didn't take a picture of the dining area -__-" basically its just a small room just enough to fit 2 person so we can have our privacy =P

After dinner, we headed off to the Curve. Surprisingly not many cars today but still hard to find parking inside the Curve. The Christmas decoration is very nice. Nicer than I expected it to be and its a hundred .. no .. a thousand times better than Pyramid's ! The pictures are below:

Went home around 10 something. Fetch Chloe straight back to Klang and then went back to Sunway. Reached home around 10.50 like that and no one is at home. I'm alone again -__-" all went da gei. What else is there for me to do other than blog? That's all for now lah. I want to sleep already. Very tired. Nights ppl !

Last day of fun before exams

Woke early today. Around 10 something because going out with Chloe. She had to do some stuffs first so I only went and pick her up around 12 something. After picking her up, we went straight to Sungei Wang. KL surprisingly not many cars today. Expected Federal Highway to be jam but quite smooth moving.

Reached Sungei Wang around 1 something then walk walk around. Nothing much to write about actually because most of the time we were walking around. Anyway, where all those "ghost" went to? So few of them nowadays. Ghost as in La La.

From there we headed over to Pavilion because Chloe wanted to buy some stuffs and I wanted to buy a Esprit shirt which I saw in Bukit Tinggi the other day. Unfortunately, Chloe got her things but I didn't get mine. So unfair ! =P Just kidding. As long she get what she wants enough already.

Went to the Ship for dinner. Promised her this is the last time I take her go eat something expensive because she say I no more money already. Honey, I promise you I wont use so much money already ok ? And exams is coming so won't be using much this coming 2 weeks. So don't worry ok ?

Really had a lot of fun today although I didn't buy anything. Just being able to go out with her for the whole day is enough already. I think this is the longest time we go out together. Never went out for this long before also. Haha. Honey, don't always worry that I'll be bored lah. As long you're there I won't be bored.

Outing

Been out the entire day. A bit tired but don't really feel like sleeping so early. And it's so bored at home so decided to blog. What else can I do anyway?

Chloe came over to Sunway around 11 something and we went to Old Town Kopitiam for brunch. After that we headed down to Mid Valley to "kai kai". Traffic was heavy around MV and almost all the parking were full. So I had to park at The Gardens instead. I seriously dont know why there are so many cars. MV not many people also. Crazy people.

Once we reached MV, we headed straight to GSC to buy movie tickets. I wanted to watch Quaratine but GSC is not showing it until 27th of November. WHAT? TGV is already showing it. So we had no choice but to watch Guard Post GP506. Movie was at 4p.m so we walk walk around first. Don't think I want to go MV again. Nothing much to do there anymore. Nothing to see as well. Pyramid is still better. Hehe.

Guard Post GP 506

Synopsis:

Guard Post 506 is a military bunker where soldiers stay alert for any possible aggression from North Korea. It is also the place where a massacre happened leaving 20 soldiers dead and 1 in coma. A sergeant major named Noh Seong-gyu was sent to the Guard Post to investigate the bloodbath. It was a messy situation and there were no signs of external attacks.

However, as the story progresses. He finds out that the massacre was not the cause of any attacks, but a virus. This virus turns the soldiers to blood-thirsty creatures who starts killing each other. It was a horrifying truth but that wasn't it. The worse thing is that the entire investigating unit including Noh himself is infected with the virus. Well, there was only 1 vaccine to this virus. What the movie to find out.

Comment:

It is actually a good movie. But you have to follow the story carefully to fully understand what really happen because it has a few twist and turns and a few flashbacks so you really have to pay attention. That's not the only advice. This movie is strictly and i really mean STRICTLY not for people with weak stomach because it is really brutal and gory. I don't really recommend watching this movie actually but if you feel like watching then go ahead. Just dont vomit on yourself thats all.

After movie, we went to Secret Recipe for dinner. Please please please dont go there for dinner. The service there are seriously below standard. What can I say? The workers there are lazy. Seriously lazy. Not surprising. Mostly all of them are BABIs. I'm sorry but thats the fact. After dinner, headed back to sunway and honey teman me a while as I was alone in the apartment. Then her 1st sister call and she had to go home. Leave me here so sien =( hehe.

Only 10.36p.m. Still so early. Honey doing homework. So hardworking. I guess I should study too. That's what I'm going to do.

You Got To Move It, Move It !

Synopsis:

Story began by showing a flashback of Alex's early years as a cub. He was caught by hunters who later lost him and he floated to America. Back to the future, all four of them escaping the Central Park Zoo and were caught and later shipped out to somewhere. However, the ship didn't made to its location and the next time was they met up with King Julien, who borrowed them a plane to return to New York. Unfortunately, the plane crashed in Africa and they were stranded as time was needed to rebuild the plane. This movie also unites Alex back with his long lost parents, Zuba and his wife.

Comment:

This movie is so damn hillarious. It doesn't hurt if you did not watch the first sequel. It's a totally different story. This movie has a strong cast with Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and David Schwimmer. Alec Baldwin and Will.I.am is also added to this cast.

Like I said in the beginning, the movie is hillarious. I really recommend watching this movie. Anyone, will just laugh throughout the entire movie as its just so funny. Try not to download it and watch. Movies like this is always better when you watch with a big crowd. Don't be a lonely fella who download the movie and watch alone at home. Get a life. Go to the cinema. It only cost you RM8.

Clubbing

Its been a while since I last went clubbing. If I'm not mistaken the last time was during merdeka eve when I went MoS.

Last Thursday I went to maison. Went there since Chloe's friends has never been there before so decided to take them there. And to my surprise, thing's changed a lot. Went there around 11. Usually by that time the club is already packed. But that day it was EMPTY ! It only started to get pack around 12 something. And the songs aren't that nice anymore. DJ Goldfish - its time for you to take a break man. You're getting old. Haha.

Left at 3 as usual. On the way back I decided to take the Sungai Besi highway back as I thought there wont be a roadblock. But I was wrong. There was one. Block the entire highway. So desperate meh? I got stopped. The police asked for identity and licence. Then he asked me:

Police: You ada minum ka?
Me: Takde. Minum coke saje.
Police: Betul ke?
Me: Yeah.

And then he took the torch light and shine at my face and say - okey la. pergi. I was like huh? That easy? Haha. Is it me or is it coincidence? Everytime I get stopped by a police I was freed without giving them anything and no getting a saman ! I think it's because of me. Haha !

Reached back Sunway and fetched Casson and his gf back to Subang then went home. Was around 4 already when I reached back apartment. Slept at 5 and woke up at 7 next morning to do assignment somemore. Have to help Chloe finish it. But I see her sleeping so nicely makes me want to go back to sleep also -______-" my honey is a pig.

Sweaty day

Played badminton with friends today.

It was a huge group actually. So many people. More than 10 and we have only 2 courts o.O"

Played from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.

It was pretty hard to play a real nice game as there was so many people. Usually 8 people share 1 court. 4-a-side. Oh my goodness.

Nevertheless, I still had fun.

On the way home, something terrible happened.

We realized we left Grace behind. Oh my god.

We're so so so sorry.

Actually me and Chloe wanted to call her when we reached the car but somehow we forgotten. Then only we realized that she was left behind when we phoned Raymond and he told us.

We're so sorry Grace. Didn't mean to leave you behind. Hopefully you won't have any hard feelings. Sorry.

Went home to bathe after that and then waited for Hillary to come back to Sunway. She went back to Puchong to have her shower.

After that, we went and fetch Kelvin and then Sze Wei and his gf and we headed to Pyramid.

Wanted to watch initially but the show was at 7pm. By the time we reached Pyramid it was already 6.40. Plus the queue was so long that we gave up watching movie. Went and have dinner instead.

Went to T.G.I.F for dinner. Just the 6 of us. Me, Chloe, Kelvin, Hillary, Sze Wei and Sze Hwei. A couples dinner -___-".

Finished dinner around 8 something and headed home after that.

Had to pack my stuffs and go back Seremban. Chloe helped me packed and then she went back to Klang when I left for Seremban.

I was quite tired and yet I still had to drive. Chloe was afraid I would be sleepy in the car so she called me when she reached Klang. She talk to me over the phone while I drove. I had handsfree on so it wasn't dangerous.

Its been a tiring day. And I'm really tired now. Off to bed now.
