Italy: Florence, Pisa
Day number 2. Have to leave Rome early to head to Florence. 4 hours drive. Sit until my ass damn pain. However, sitting in the bus for so long allowed me to observed some things. Like for example, Italian drivers are very cautious. They do not speed. And when traffic is slow, they keep a very very big distance with the car in front. Which is very good. Unlike Malaysian drivers. Stick until so close although you cant go any faster. Another thing is the cars in Italy. In Malaysia, the common cars are Proton and Perodua. Here in Italy, Smart Car For Two and Mini Cooper are the Protons and Peroduas of Italy. They love small cars. And the taxis here. Malaysia only use Proton as taxi. The common ones la. They seldom use Sentra, Renault or Mercs. Here, guess what are the taxis they use? Mercs S-Class and E-Class, BMW 5 and 7 series. Damn cool weh. Dont cost that much also. But cars here are cheap lah.
Okay. Back to the trip. Went to Florence and visited the Tuscany capitol to see all the work of Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and others. All of them including King David and the Medusa. Went shopping a little bit and went and see the 3rd biggest Cathedral in Italy or in Europe (sorry forgot the name :P) and then left the place for Pisa. Reached Pisa around 3 or 4 something and got of the bus at a car park quite a distance away for the tower. Took the public bus to the square and walk to the tower. They don't allow heavy vehicles near the tower as the vibration will cause the tower to collapse so they have to control the amount of vehicles and people going into the area. When I got there I was like 'Wow, it IS REALLY leaning' LOL. Seriously. Seeing it with your own eyes is very different from seeing it in a picture. Really have to idea what is holding the tower. Really a miracle it did not collapse. Took some pictures, walk around the area and bought some souvenirs and then headed of for dinner. After dinner, headed back to the hotel for some rest. And tomorrow, I will be headed to Venice :D it is a very beautiful place.Cant wait to go there. Going to bed now. Around 1 already. Good night. To those in Malaysia... Good morning. Haha. Ciao.
