Europe: Day 5

Switzerland: Mount Titlis, Lucerne

I'm kinda lazy to blog already. Have to type so many things. So I guess I'll shorten things a bit and post pictures instead.

Left Lake Lugano and headed for Mount Titlis. This place is famous for it's snow capped mountain. Even in the summer there is snow up there and the tempreture is freaking cold. Imagine how cold it would be if it was winter. Didn't do much there. Just played with snow a little bit and then ate lunch there and took a little look around that place.

After Mount Titlis, we're off to Lucerne. Another town in Switzerland. It's almost the same as Lake Lugano except there is more night life. Went and walked on its famous Wooden Chapel Bridge which was originally build in the 17th century and was burned down somewhere in the 19s and then rebuilt again. Went shopping after that and bought a cuckoo clock. Well, Switzerland is famous for it. Cost dad almost RM 1k. After that went back to the hotel for dinner and went up to the room to rest. Parents went out with friends to have a drink and I decided to stay back and watch Olympics. Off to bed now. Very sleepy. Nights.

Europe: Day 4

Italy: Florence, Milan. Switzerland: Lake Lugano

Today left Italy to cross the border to Switzerland. However, there was a little change of plan. We decided to take a little optional tour. So instead of leaving Venice straight for Italy, we decided to drop by Milan on our way to Switzerland. I really wanted to go to Milan. It is a beautiful place. But the actual reason I wanted to go there is because I wanted to do some shopping. I haven't bought anything yet !

So, thats what we did. Shop shop and shop in Milan. Bought a few things. Bought a Ferrari Shirt. Its a replica of Kimi Raikonnen's shirt :P Cost is 50 euros which is around RM 250. I also bought a pair of new adidas shoes. Cost 60 euros which is RM 300. Overall, spent RM 550 a day already. Things here are damn expensive.

Left Milan for Switzerland after that. Upon arriving, we went straight to Lake Lugano to visit the Piazza Riforna. Its called a Piazza but actually its more like a lake garden. The view there was breath taking. See the pictures. But you really have to be there to know the feeling. It is really really beautiful. Went for dinner after that and then headed back to the hotel. Later, I went to the casino and played Roulette there. And of course. No challenge. Won around RM 300. Noob la those fellas :P And I'm rich now. So I'm going to do more shopping soon. The hotel is located on a hill top and my room is the biggest and the best thing is it is facing the lake. Beautiful. Off to bed now. Nights !

Europe: Day 3

Italy: Venice

Third day third day ~ Today will be travelling to Venice. A place famous for its canals and known as the sinking city. It is also well known as the place where the St Mark's Square is located. I'm kind of lazy to write about everything so I think I'll just make this short.

First thing I did was go to St Mark's Square to see the Byzantine Basilica. And after that, went to see the art of glass blowing. How they made those stuffs made of glass like vase, cups and so on. After that went for a gondola ride through the canals of Venice. It was fun. Would have been romantic if I was here with someone that I love :P

After the gondola ride, went back to St. Mark's Square to do some window shopping. Didn't buy anything because we were running short of time. Had to leave Venice to go for dinner. Was around 6 something that time. Now back in the hotel after dinner. You know what time it is? Its around 9pm now. And guess what? The sun is shinning brightly outside although the moon is already up. I think it'll go down around 10 something. Haha. Not bad. Have daylight more than nightlight. Okay lah. Now want to go down to the bar and get some drinks. That's all for now then. Ciao.

Europe: Day 2

Italy: Florence, Pisa

Day number 2. Have to leave Rome early to head to Florence. 4 hours drive. Sit until my ass damn pain. However, sitting in the bus for so long allowed me to observed some things. Like for example, Italian drivers are very cautious. They do not speed. And when traffic is slow, they keep a very very big distance with the car in front. Which is very good. Unlike Malaysian drivers. Stick until so close although you cant go any faster. Another thing is the cars in Italy. In Malaysia, the common cars are Proton and Perodua. Here in Italy, Smart Car For Two and Mini Cooper are the Protons and Peroduas of Italy. They love small cars. And the taxis here. Malaysia only use Proton as taxi. The common ones la. They seldom use Sentra, Renault or Mercs. Here, guess what are the taxis they use? Mercs S-Class and E-Class, BMW 5 and 7 series. Damn cool weh. Dont cost that much also. But cars here are cheap lah.

Okay. Back to the trip. Went to Florence and visited the Tuscany capitol to see all the work of Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and others. All of them including King David and the Medusa. Went shopping a little bit and went and see the 3rd biggest Cathedral in Italy or in Europe (sorry forgot the name :P) and then left the place for Pisa. Reached Pisa around 3 or 4 something and got of the bus at a car park quite a distance away for the tower. Took the public bus to the square and walk to the tower. They don't allow heavy vehicles near the tower as the vibration will cause the tower to collapse so they have to control the amount of vehicles and people going into the area. When I got there I was like 'Wow, it IS REALLY leaning' LOL. Seriously. Seeing it with your own eyes is very different from seeing it in a picture. Really have to idea what is holding the tower. Really a miracle it did not collapse. Took some pictures, walk around the area and bought some souvenirs and then headed of for dinner. After dinner, headed back to the hotel for some rest. And tomorrow, I will be headed to Venice :D it is a very beautiful place.Cant wait to go there. Going to bed now. Around 1 already. Good night. To those in Malaysia... Good morning. Haha. Ciao.

Europe: Day 1

Italy: Rome, Vatican City

Finallyyyyyyyyyyy ~ After 11 hours in the air we finally arrived in Italy around 6am (12pm Malaysian Time). Not feeling sleepy at all although I haven't slept for 24 hours before I boarded the plane. Have a hectic schedule today. A lot of places to go. Left the airport around 7.30am and headed for our first destination. Of all places, the historic Coliseum. It was where the gladiators fought their battle. As usual, take pictures and walk around the place. Sad thing was we did not have the time to enter the Coliseum. Damn sad man. Come all the way here and didn't get the chance to enter.

After visiting the Coliseum our next destination was the Vatican City. The holy city and the place where the St. Peter's Basilica and the pope resides. The square was beautiful. Full of sculptures. And the church? Magnificent. Everything is breathtaking. The paintings. The sculptures. Look at the walls and admire their architecture. It is just beautiful. It is a very big church. It is also where the first pope was buried. St. Peter himself. A lot of people as usual. Very crowded. Took some pictures there and walked around the church and then left for our next destination.

Next up was the Spanish Steps. This is the shopping area of Rome. All the branded shops are there. From LV to Versace and Prada to Gucci. Everything is there. Didn't buy anything though. I wanted to buy a LV bag but I think I'll buy it in France. Bought some pizza to take back to the hotel to eat since we are not going to have dinner that night. Overall the first day was okay. Its a nice place but I'm already looking forward to tomorrow. Tomorrow I will be going to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Florence. Will update about that trip. Off to bed now. Till then... Ciao :P

Out.

I'm Back !

Finally I'm back from my European trip. Brought my lap top along but could not online cos I had to pay for using the internet. I written the blog already but haven't posted it yet. Going to post it now and it is going to be a long post LOL

Update.

Update update update.. Everyone is telling me to update. But I do not have ANYTHING to update about =\

1.38 am now. Nothing to do. Rotting at home this past few days. In few more days I'll be flying off to Europe. Leaving on the 7th and will be back on the 19th. Be late for college. Worried about that. And results coming out. Hopefully won't be too bad.

Wonder when is Hillary coming back? Is she coming back? Will she really be coming back? Or is she going to China instead? Hmm.. Still waiting for her to let us know. Stupid girl. Hopefully she comes back.

... I don't know what I'm doing. Writing rubbish only -____-" oh well. Just leave it for now. That Grace never reply me in MSN. Celaka her. Frighten her somemore first. Ciao.
